Pack 100 Leadership

On February 25, we held our second Blue & Gold Banquet, to celebrate the 87th birthday of the Cub Scouts. We had a Lego/Star Wars theme, which the Scouts chose in January. This really helped to get them (and their parents) excited about the party.

During the banquet, the Blue & Gold Committee presented fun awards to all the leaders. The Dens entertained us with their skits and also recognized their leaders. Committee Chair Chuck Emerton and Cubmaster Brian Boyle presented JTE patches to the Pack, custom pens and service stars to the Leaders, and certificates to individuals who made a difference in the Pack this year. Brian also presented Founder’s Bars to Dylan L., Eric A., and Chuck Emerton for being founding members of Pack 100. Finally, Blue & Gold Chair Diane Hartel and Bear Den Leader Bill Boyle presented a hiking stick adorned with medallions to Brian in appreciation of his service as Cubmaster. Afterward there was delicious Lego Star Wars cake!

Our Blue & Gold Committee and our Master of Ceremonies, Doug Arnett, did a fantastic job for the Pack. They put a lot of thought into the event and really went out of their way to make it special for everyone, and it certainly was.
